Chocolate Palm Turkeys
We will be putting together an experimental breeding group this year to try and create this rare variety. At this time there is no chocolate palm turkeys that are even known to exist. We expect to be able to produce a few chocolate palms by 2009 and hopefully will be able to start a breeding group of these by 2010 and start offering poults for sale at this time as well.
This variety will breed true with a genotype of b1b1cgcgeengng for toms and b1b1cgcge-ng- for hens.
They will be on a black winged bronze base with palm,brown and narragansett genes.
They will look like a royal palm except a milk chocolate color will replace black .
