     Poult Ordering Information

 Please read entire page before ordering

Shipments till the end of July.

 **NO SHIPPING TO MN, VA, HI or NV due to additional testing and/or CVI requirements.**

We do not ship outside of the United States. 


Requirements for number of poults ordered.

Minimum order is 15 , maximum order is 60 per shipment

Must be ordered in multiples of 15,30,45,60.

Substitutions: Write either “Sub” or “No sub” on your order form. Note: if you select “No Sub” shipment of your order could be delayed by several weeks or months until all varieties ordered are available from the same hatch. So to avoid shipping delays or a possibility of us canceling your order as not being able to be filled please give us a list of other exceptable varieites we can include to make your order.

 

 Shipping Information

We will telephone or e-mail you the day your birds are shipped so it is very important that you include your daytime and evening telephone numbers (if they are different) and your e-mail address on your order form (if you want us to use your e-mail address). We call in the evening to let you know they have been sent and the Postal Service calls during the day to let you know they have arrived at your Post Office. We will basically try to contact you first by telephone and will use the e-mail as a backup contact in case we can't reach you by phone. We do not call if we do not ship.

Guarantees

  • Shipping date:  There is no guarantee on shipping dates. We will do the best we can to meet your requested date. We ship on either Monday, Tuesday (ocassionally Wednesday) of each hatch week. We always contact you (either by telephone or e-mail) the evening the shipment goes in the mail.
  •  Live delivery guarantees: We can only give a live arrival  guarantee of the actual number of poults you ordered. We always try to include extra poults to cover any losses that may unfortunately occur.
  • So please remember this when filing a claim for dead poults upon arrival. For example, If you ordered 15 poults and received 17 and only 2 were dead upon arrival, no loss can be filed as those two would count as extras that you didn't actually pay for. If 3 were lost out of this number You could only claim 1 as an actual loss.
  • Immediately open the box upon arrival in front of your postal worker and count the number of live poults, and the number of dead if any. If there is any losses you can claim have your postal worker sign and stamp our form which will be attached to the outside of the box ,They must list the number of live and also the number dead.
  • You must then mail this form back to us completely filled out to receive a refund for dead poults. 

  • Cancellation policy:  We reserve the right to charge a 25% cancellation penalty on orders that are cancelled by the customer, for any reason.
  • Shipping Charges

        Priority mail shipping charges are included in poult prices.  (2-3 day delivery)

        Express mail shipping (1-2 day delivery) will be an extra charge if you desire this service. We highly recommend this if you do not live in a state bordering Indiana.

15 poults add.... $25

30 poults add.... $30

45 poults add.... $35

60 poults add.... $40

 

 Poult ordering reminders:

  • All orders must be received with full payment to be considered for booking. An order is not considered booked if you talk to us about it on the telephone, or send an e-mail telling us what you want. It will not be booked until we receive the payment. No exceptions!
  • We do accept orders by telephone or Internet.
  • We do accept credit cards(Mastercard or Visa only) money orders, paypal and personal or business checks.
  •  
  • All checks will have to clear before order can be shipped.
  • Make sure you include your phone number when placing an order so we can write it on the outside of the box so the post office can call you upon arrival for pickup.

 

         Sexing:

  • All day-old poults are sold as straight run only.  We do not sex any of the day olds.  Since we do not sell sexed poults, we have no control over what you receive as far as a male-female ratio. Ideally, it is supposed to be a 50-50 split, but anyone who has been in poultry knows it can vary from that.

  • We do not guarantee specific shipping dates. 

  •  The dates listed here are the approximate shipping dates not the dates they arrive at your home

     Quantities:

The number in parentheses "( )" after the price of the poults indicates the maximum number of day olds available at one hatch. You can order as few as one of a particular variety. If you want more than the maximum number, you will either need to place two orders from two different hatches. Or contact us to see if we may be able to fill your request in one shipment.
